Humble beginnings

Hello everyone!

I have started rebuilding some of the classic games I have worked on over a 20-year period using HTML5.

I am still working out a few HTML5 kinks. About half of the games scale easily to 800x600 on an iPhone, and half of them don't fit entirely in the window; I still don't know what magic CSS value I need to make it work 100% of the time.

I am committing to games in an 800x600 screen format for now.

When I first built a minesweeper clone, it was for a handset with the 9-button interface and a direction pad. 2,4,6,8 were mapped to Up, Left, Right, and Down.

I will be posting these there as well as finding advertising portals to place them. I am using a mix of assets from Microsoft Designer, sound from Pixabay, and I have an audio composer who is going to provide music and jingles for the next games.

Can these generate enough revenues from casual HTML5 game sites to cover the costs of art and sound? If the answer is yes, then I will keep adding more.

Eventually I am hoping to get to some of my more sophisticated and successful games. Time will tell!

The second game is ready, I am just waiting for a final audio delivery before I post it live.

Thank you for reading along and enjoy the games!
